- What style purse is this?
I have this purse that I bought a long time ago. It's manufactured by apt. 9 and I purchased it at Kohls. I like it a lot and would like to purchase another one but I can't figure out what it is called. - How do I accessorise a white dress in art-deco style?
It's for a black-and-white art deco wedding (so I figured white's okay, since it's part of the theme!) I've borrowed a figure-hugging sheer (with a slip) white dress with a high neck and no sleeves and will wear my long dark blondish hair out. The dress is really bright white and so far I'm not pleased with any of the jewellery I've got - it's all really blanched against the white. Will probably have white shoes good to go (OR super uncomfortable gold ones I'd really rather not wear), and have a really nice black beaded handbag with a gold strap which is very appropriate. Can spend up to $50 on some earrings or a necklace maybe (since I borrowed the dress). Help! It's on Sunday. Again, the theme is Black-and-White, so I figured this was an explicit exception to the no-white-at-a-wedding rule. I like the idea of a black shawl if I can find one (especially as it's at 5pm on Sunday, even if it is Summer here). I have black shoes but they're a few years old, very pointy. And I agree about the gold strap on the bag. So now I'm thinking about some long pearl drop earrings set in gold to even it out a bit.
